According to industry research, over 78% of weddings in 2022 were held in non-religious establishments. We have an ordained minister with the United National Ministry ready to legally solemnize your union.
Marriage Ceremonies
TEXAS MARRIAGE LAWS
- Texas does not require minister registration
- A witness other than the minister is not required to sign the license
- There is a 3 day waiting period to get married once you obtain the wedding license
- The license expires 90 days after you pick it up from the county clerk
- The license must be returned within 30 days of the ceremony to the county clerk.

We will work with each couple to customize the ceremony to their unique style, preferences and beliefs.
Custom Ceremony Content
Tim will meet with each couple to hear their love story, common interests, and plans for the future. Some unique elements of a ceremony script that can be included to make the experience more personal include:
- Favorite Scripture Verses
- Poetry
- Dating Stories from the Couple
- Movie or TV Show Quotes
- Song Lyrics
- Various Unity Rituals such as Sand, Candles, Rope Braiding, etc.
- Special Songs for the Couple
- Future Goals and Aspirations
Vow Styles
There are 4 methods for delivery vows. Each couple should choose what they prefer.
- Repeat After Me: The officiant states the vows one sentence at a time and each repeats the words after the officiant.
- Say "I do.": The officiant reads the entire scripted vows and each person responds by simply stating "I do."
- Write Your Own: The bride and groom each write their own and read or recite them one at a time to the other.
- Private Vows: Couple may choose while music plays softly to read or state their vows quietly to one another without the audience hearing their private conversation.
Approved Script and Order
Each couple will have the opportunity to decide what elements of the ceremony they wish to include and exclude, read a copy of the script at least 3 weeks in advance to approve the content and style, and review the flow and order of the ceremony.
